Hi! I'm Sydney, owner and founder of Simply Sweet. I was born and raised in the Berkshires. For me, my love for all things sweet started in the kitchen with my grandmother, making Italian cookies as a young girl. Those little cookies lit a spark inside me- and I have been baking ever since.
My professional baking career began in 2012, working for a local bakery in town. This led me to the Culinary Institute of America where I attended the Baking and Pastry Arts program in 2014. I then went on to work at several bakeries on the East Coast to gain experience, with the idea of hopefully opening up my own someday.
Fast forward to 2017 and Simply Sweet was born! I enjoy creating treats of all kinds and experimenting with new flavors, concepts and designs. Whether your event is big or small, simple or extravagant I am happy to make your dessert visions come to life! I believe that there are endless possibilities when it comes to desserts... lets get creative!
